Lost & Found

€5.00

Hangar Photo Art Center presents Lost & Found, a selection of contemporary artworks, through the eyes of two collectors. The exhibition is an opportunity for two passionate connoisseurs to create a dialogue with the art pieces they each have acquired over the years.

Lost & Found is the place where lost property is kept. Is an art collection just an accumulation of lost and found articles? Does an artist lose an artwork when he sells it to a collector? Does a collector totally own a piece of art?

Paris-based French writer/director Edgard F. Grima has bought an art work for the first time in 2014. His collection consists essentially of conceptual art and mostly questions creative process, language and writing.

Belgian art historian based in Brussels, Christophe Veys teaches at ARTS2-Mons. For 26 years, the Veys-Verhaevert Collection is constructed around the idea of everyday life poetry.
